March 3. Commemoration of the Holy Martyrs Eutropius, Cleonicus and Basilicus.

  Eutropius, Cleonicus and Basilicus were of Cappadocian origin and gave their life for Christ under Emperor Maximian (285-305).

Scripture Memory

“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession” (Hebrews 4:14).

“He summoned the crowd with his disciples and said to them, ‘Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and that of the gospel will save it’ ” (Mark 8:34-35).
