Sunday of The Samaritan Woman

Christ is Risen!

He is Truly Risen!

April 28. Commemoration of the Holy Disciples Jason and Sosipater, who were among the Seventy, and of our Father among the Saints Cyril, Bishop of Turov.

Jason and Sosipater are believed to have been cousin of St. Paul. Jason gave lodging to Paul when he was preaching in Thessalonica.

Scripture Memory

“Then he went to Tarsus to look for Saul, and when he had found him he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a large number of people, and it was in Antioch that the disciples were first called Christians” (Acts 11:25-26).

“The woman left her water jar and went into the town and said to the people, ‘Come see a man who told me everything I have done. Could he possibly be the Messiah?’” (John 4:28-29).
